Turtle Ship Mod Clones! Four To Choose From at $22-24

I know some people get sick of hearing about great deals from Fasttech, I don’t. Today Fasttech has made a splash with 4 slightly different varieties of Turtle Ship (Geobukseon) clones on their site. This is almost $10 cheaper than the recent listings of this mod, but they are all a bit different. There are two different versions available, each in stainless steel or brass. They are all very similar, and just about identical in aesthetics, besides the engraving on the button, so what’s the difference between the V1 and the V2?

Here’s the V1 in ss

The V1 of the clone has a lot in common with the recent Caravela clones that have been on Fasttech. The pins are silver plated bronze for a nice connection just like the caravela as well. The 510 pin appears to be reverse threaded and nicely settled in delrin insulation. The locking ring is reverse threaded as well.

Many changes for something so similar

The V2 has a similar look, but completely different guts than the V1. Here there are two fat brass contacts each equipped with its own insulator. The V2 features a floating 510 brass pin as opposed to the adjustable version in the V1. The button on the V2 has three battery vents and the distinct adjustable insulator for a snug battery fit. Lastly the V2 does not have a reverse threaded locking switch, which is kind of a downer.

The Turtle Ship Mod Clone $29.99

Since this mod has been sold out at that other major U.S. store I wanted to make a post about this. Here it is, the Geobukseon aka the Turleship. This mod is so good, they named it twice. No, actually Geobukseon is a reference to the type of ship that is depicted on the mod, and Geobukseon basically is synonymous with Turtle ship.

Still not sure what the letters mean.

This mod is pretty standard overall. It has brass contacts like a lot of other mods. It also comes with three tube pieces to fit all 3 common 18000 batteries. There is some tasteful laser engraving on both sides of the mod. Then to top it all off you get an adjustable insulator for a snug battery fit. All pretty standard features. 

According to a reviewer it’s a quote from Yi Sun Shin “Those willing to die will live, those willing to live will die.”

Here is the latest in maritime mods the Turtle Ship aka Geobukseon. This is made my Rj Mods of UVO Systems and was cloned by some Chinese guy in Shenzen. I’m going to guess that this was put together by Tobeco since they have been advertising this mod on their site for some time now. This is now in stock at a U.S. vendor who has once again beaten Fasttech and the other Chinese sites to the release of the latest mod.

I bet it translates to Turtle Ship…

This mod is pretty standard as far as tube mods go nowadays. Here you get a stainless steel mod with brass contacts. The delrin insulator is adjustable which is a nice plus. That means you can use a button top or flat top battery of any 18000 size variety and make it into a snug fit without a rattle. The 510 pin is adjustable which will help you switch atomizers without any fuss. Lastly there is a locking ring. All pretty standard really.

This is the latest in Korean mods which have been very popular lately. Personally I don’t think this mod has anything to really make is stand out in the crowd. The battery tubes are pieced together, I’d rather it be 3 full tubes. The contacts are brass, I’d prefer silver coated contacts. Other than that, it is a tube with some laser engraving. Somebody has to be excited about this release, the original mod is sold out in most stores at $180. Here you can very close to the real thing for 1/5 of the price.

Turtle Ship Mod Clone Coming Soon

For those that don’t have $180 for a turtle ship mod, our cries of woe are being answered, sometime soon. The Turtle Ship mod by Geobukseon has a clone coming out by those crafty manufacturers over in China. Those Chinese cloning companies are cloning mods and atomizers almost as soon as they come out now. The first announcement of the clone’s arrival came from (once again) Vaperoyalty. Vaperoyalty is really making a name for themselves now as the place to get the newest clones. I purchased my Poldiac clone there and love it, I wouldn’t hesitate to shop there again. My speculation is that this clone of the Turtle Ship is being made by a company called Infinite Technology. I’ll be watching closely for more news about this release.

One feature that stands out to me is the Derlin spacer on the button. This is adjustable and that sounds great. I’ve bought enough mods to know that some just require a button top battery to prevent rattle. This mod will take flat tops or button tops and that is always a plus.
