Here is a suave new twist on the “Kayfun alikes.” The Erlkonigin rebuildable atomizer clone is creeping into preorder status at a couple suppliers. Most Kayfun style atomizers are very similar with small differences to customize the vape such as increased airflow, larger capacity, or smaller size. The Erlkonigin appears to have started from the ground up with nice features which have definitely caught my attention. The name might make this atomizer a difficult conversation piece, a quick translation attempt reveals that Erlkonigin is German and means Queen.
I’m really digging the grooves on this mod. The top cap has 4 easy to handle indents to make filling quick and painless. To fill the atomizer you just rotate the cap 45 degrees and two fill holes will be revealed. This sounds like a nice change from the sometimes tedious screwing some atomizers require. There are also more grooves surrounding the 510 connector to make removing the bottom easier as well. The tank has no threading and is held in place by the chimney, much like the Fogger’s design.
Everything looks so smooth, the finish looks great
The drip tips for this mod are proprietary, but there is an adapter to allow any drip tip to work. The deck has two nicely elevated posts and the way the wick channel lines up makes building seem very easy on this atomizer. The original Erlkonigin ships with a variety of tanks that adjust the capacity from 6ml to 8ml. For an atomizer that is only slightly larger than a Kayfun (4.5ml,) I am very impressed. I like the way the deck and bottom are designed. The grooved and bottom fed air control are a nice change from the flat and bland bottoms that most atomizers have. The bottom is also very thin, it looks like this atomizer really shines in space management.
Designed for a single coil, but is supposed to have the airiest draw of all
I have suspicions that this clone is made by Yiloong, the makers of the Fogger. Their Alibaba page has a listing for the Erlkonigin with all the accessories that the original shipped with, this listing says it only includes the plastic drip tip and 6ml tank. For now this atomizer is only available as a preorder, and as per usual I suspect the prices will drop once more suppliers stock up. I am very excited to try this atomizer out myself, and I hope it is sooner than later. Here is what the suppliers site says about it:
6ml Co-Polymer Tank
Easy Fill Top Cap by twisting 45 degrees to expose a filling hole.
Intergrated AFC in the base
Direct Positive Pole Connector
Standard 510 threading
Proprietarythreaded plasticdrip tip.
Tank is not a structural element. Chimney attached to the top cap to give the unitmore strength.
Innovative Wick Guide (Channels) which allows the tank to be vaped completely before the need to refill.
I’ll keep this short and sweet rather than repeating myself about this mod. The Nemi Clone, or as it is also called The Mini Nemesis Clone is starting to pop up at online vendors now. This is the lowest price I’ve seen on this sleek 14500 mod, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up having the same prices as the Nemesis clone once these are in stock. Here we have 3 variations of the mod available; brushed stainless steel mixed, polished stainless steel mixed, and copper with steel accents. The copper version costs $3 more than the steel versions at $33. The details are still unconfirmed, but I would assume this has a spring loaded switch, and no extension tubes, much like the models I’ve spotted elsewhere.
Back again with a lower price and a new finish.
Any user that plans on topping this with a rebuildable atomizer should proceed with caution. The 14500 model battery that these “mini” mods use are not rated for as high of a discharge rate as an 18650 or even a 18350. Get familiar with ohms law and make sure to keep your coils at a appropriate wattage for a 14500 battery. Based on the recent popularity of the Kayfun 2.1 clone release I am sure these will be a big hit and will provide a nice alternative to the heavy 26650 mods that have been popping up everywhere.
Look at all these options! I’ve been really excited to get my hands on a Fogger v4. I’ve always held the Aqua atomizer in very high regard and the Fogger v4 addresses the downsides of the Aqua. There are two colors available for the Fogger v4, black and stainless steel finish. There are also two sizes available 22mm and 28.5mm. I love having all these options and I have already jumped on getting a black one for myself to match my black Stingray and Nemesis clones. I’ve been waiting for a dual coil 28.5mm RBA to make the leap into 26650 mods and this will probably seal the deal.
Looks like even the o-rings match the color, nice attention to detail
I was one of the original adapters of the first and second Fogger RBAs. I had a very good experience with them until my insulators burned up and began shorting out on me. Since then I haven’t looked back at the Fogger, but the specs of the v4 have caught my attention. The deck in the Fogger v4 is designed for dual coils with its dual air channels. Just like the Aqua the air flow is adjustable and flows up through the bottom of the coil. There are 4 juice channels so the juice flow can keep the wicks soaked. Unlike the Aqua these mods come in more common sizes such as 22mm and 28.5mm.
Nice adjustable copper pin, should work great with any mod
I always prefer RBA’s with a window. It;s not easy using a stainless tank and trying to guess by taste how much juice there is left. The taste of burning cotton can really spoil my appetite. In case the 5ml capacity of the standard Fogger v4 is not enough, there is the Big Fogger V4 which states the capacity might be around 8ml.
Expected release date of May 24th, preorders now available for black or stainless finishes

Edit: The price keeps changing, as of 5/10 2:00am EST it is at a new low of $40.
It seems like everything releases in preorders now. Here is easily the best 14500 mod clone to date. The Nemesis or Nemi is the most popular mod of the past year and there’s plenty of reasons why. Personally I own 3 Nemesis clones and I can’t bring myself to sell any of them. They are as reliable as mods get. They come in a great variety of styles, and all of them perform excellent.
Slimming down for the summer
The details on this clone are pretty non-existent so far. The original Nemi featured a solid tube for a 14500 battery and an extension for a 14650. This mod is a slender 17mm in diameter, which would pair up nicely with a Kayfun mini (2.1) or a Taifun GS. This has all the great features of the original, like the iconic switch, which I assume ships with a spring. The adjustable 510 pin in the Nemesis works perfect with any atomizer and allows for a nice flush mount. This version comes in the very popular brushed stainless mixed design or in a brushed copper mixed option, both look great. I’m sure this is just the first place to offer this mod, and soon we’ll be drowning in Nemi clones.
One of the most stylish RDA’s available now. This atomizer is made to make any mod rule. I loved the styling of the original Crown on the Rook mod, but now I can afford to try one out on some of my more affordable mods. This is the version people are going to want. I imagine the brass version will be more popular than the copper or stainless versions. The classic RDA set up comes back with some fancy trimmings to compete with the wave of stylish clones we’ve been treated to lately.
Dual o-rings on the base are always a plus when dealing with a sleeve AFC
One thing that has grown to bother is an rda with an Air Flow Control (AFC) ring that has no details to grip. This crown has plenty of nooks and crannies to use for grip without slicing open a part of yourself. The afc ring features plenty of choices of diameter from 1mm – 2.5mm. The well, or dish has a nice lip on it to hold a reasonable amount of juice without worrying about leaks. The posts are aligned nicely with a nice wide bore for mounting. I prefer slotted post screws and the insulator on the positive looks beefy. This atomizer has a lot going for it in my opinion.
17mm inside diameter, this will fit like a crown.
Here is what the site is saying about it:
– 2 Adjustable Airflow Holes – 4 Different Air holes to choose from: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm – Easy Twist-On Airflow Control – 3 elevated positive and negative terminals – alleviates loose negative terminal issue – Native 510 connection – Deeper Juice well for over dripping – Easy snap on top cap – Durable food grade Insulator – 17mm inner chamber diameter to accommodate single or dual coil builds – the crown part is available in Gold Plated
One of the biggest RDA’s of the year is coming to the clone market. The highly sought after Magma RDA has been cloned. This is a unique RDA design that challenges the “standard” three post layout that most RDA’s tend to use today. RDA’s have seen a lot of attempts at rebuilding the wheel, but many will argue that the Magma is the standout in form and functionality.
Everything appears to be exactly like the original, except the price
Features are how you win at the RDA game. Vapers don’t want simple, but they want something easy. Here are two nicely bored out posts that lead a coil right over the bottom feeding air flow channels. Notice that the holes in the posts are actually aimed the right way for this, unlike some other RDAs I’ve experienced. There is plenty of selection in the AFC (Air Flow Control) ring, everything from dual 1mm up to dual 3mm are available to suit a variety of tastes. There is a particularly deep juice well. This helps the lazy drippers like me who can’t always hold a mod in one hand and a juice bottle in the other. I’ve heard that it can hold up to 40 drops of e-liquid, but feel free to count for yourself. This RDA is a little bigger than some alternatives, this is due to the larger well, and bottom fed air flow channels. If you needed a reason to buy another dripper, this clone should be near the top of your list.
Here is what the site is saying about it:
2 Poles designed for durability
Dual Bottom Airhole directly below the coils
External independent Air Flow Control
Comes with a mini tank for ease of use that can hold up to 40 drops
Again with the 26650 mods. Here is The Big Nasty mod with its tasteful design and tough stainless steel exterior. Lately there has been a shortage of the originals of mods and the cloners are pumping out their renditions to fulfill the gaps in supply. This is not the first Big Nasty clone to hit the market, but it is the closest to a 1:1 replica that I’ve seen.
Probably the nicest 26650 clone to date
Probably my favorite feature of this mod is what is hidden below the switch. This version has a recessed firing button that lies within the frame of the button. This design is to prevent accidentally firing the mod by storing it upright. The button in this version is supposed to be a spring unlike the original’s magnets. I really like the way the top cap tapers down to 23mm. It might look a little weird with a 28mm atomizer, but so far everything I own is 21-23mm which would fit nicely here. All the contacts are copper and they are adjustable. This looks like a winner to me.
